PEPPER LANE MURAL
As part of City of Culture 2021, I worked with Coventry City Council to create a large-scale street mural, using my signature Matt Chu art style to give Pepper Lane a vibrant new identity.

The mural brings together elements representing Coventry's mythic past, tangible present, and imagined future in a dreamlike composition where disparate realities intersect and inspiration is born.
The 83 m2 mural was hand-painted with acrylics on fifteen individual plywood boards, then mounted to the masonry. The accompanying wall colours were also chosen and arranged by the artist.
